IT Nation Equips Partners For Success

“It’s a two-day sabbatical,” says Jeannine Edwards, director of the ConnectWise Community about her company’s event.  “We want attendees to leave saying, ‘How do I finish 2013, and what is 2014 going to look like for me?’” She says partners and potential partners who attend IT Nation on November 13-15 in Orlando are there by choice, coming with the understanding they will focus on their businesses, thought leadership, and best practices.

Quite impressively, ConnectWise offers its partners more than 100 breakout sessions at the event. The content of the sessions is based on user group surveys about business experiences and using the ConnectWise business automation platform. Edwards says IT Nation attendees set their own agendas for the conference, choosing which sessions to attend. “You decide what’s going to be your ‘aha moment,’” she says.
She adds that ConnectWise also realizes not everyone has the same challenges and goals for the upcoming year. “We’re not going to tell you what your idea of success is. We want to give you the way to get there.”
In addition to educational opportunities, this year’s event features two keynote addresses: Simon Sinek, internationally best-selling author of “Start With Why,” and Arnie Bellini, ConnectWise co-founder and CEO. According to Edwards, vendor sponsors also add to the event by exhibiting and creating “an end-to-end technology toolkit.”
In addition, IT National includes entertainment and networking. “It’s a high priority for us to give partners time to spend networking, because that’s just as important to their growth,” Edwards says. One popular networking event is the IT Nation Golf Tournament — already booked to capacity.
A new feature at IT Nation this year is the “VIP Elite Program,” for invited guests who are not yet ConnectWise partners. These guests will follow a special agenda focusing on IT service provider best practices and how to leverage the ConnectWise platform to achieve these goals. 

ConnectWise increases about 20 percent in attendance and vendor sponsorship each year. Edwards says the growing event is part of ConnectWise’s commitment to its partners’ success. “The level and amount of energy that happens there is phenomenal.”
