Jenne, Inc. Is Presented With 2012 North American Distributor Of The Year Award At Extreme Networks Global Partner Conference

Value Added Distributor is Recognized by Extreme Networks for Second Year in a Row

Avon, OH – Jenne, Inc., a leading value-added distributor of IP telephony, audio and video conferencing, unified communications, data networking and IT security products, announced that it has received the 2012 North American Distributor of the Year award from Extreme Networks. Jenne was singularly recognized at the event for its overall performance and commitment to Extreme Networks which took place last week at Ritz Carlton in Key Biscayne, Fla. Dan Kozimor, product manager, enterprise data solutions and Ken Fabozzi, vice president of U.S. sales, Jenne, were both in attendance to receive the award.

The 2012 Distributor of the Year Award covers the geography of North America and recognizes Jenne for outstanding growth of its Extreme Networks revenue during Extreme Networks fiscal year, which ended June 30, 2012. This is the second year in a row that Jenne has been recognized with a distribution award from Extreme Networks. Last year, it captured the "Top Distributor Growth Award," having grown its Extreme Networks revenue by in excess of 30 percent during fiscal 2011. Jenne has been carrying Extreme Networks full line of enterprise-focused network optimization solutions since September of 2008.

“We are honored to achieve this recognition from Extreme Networks,” commented Ken Fabozzi. “This award is a testament to the relentless drive and knowledge of our sales and support staff, who have been focused on identifying and closing Extreme Networks-related opportunities since we took the line almost four years ago.”

During 2012, Jenne has had success with the entire enterprise-focused Extreme Network product line, including its core switching products such as Black Diamond® and Summit®, which combine consistent performance, carrier-class availability, enhanced security and simplified management. Demand for Jenne’s Extreme Networks solutions was particularly strong in the K-12 and secondary education vertical markets.

“The Distributor of the Year award has very stringent criteria and recognizes several dimensions of distributor performance including revenue growth,” commented Andy Middlemiss, vice president North America Sales for Extreme Networks. “This year, Jenne was able to outperform all other distributors while delivering a significant percentage of purely organic growth. As a distribution partner, Jenne has been able to turn around opportunities quickly while remaining utterly committed to providing value to its reseller partners.”
