Kantech Intevo Offers Integrated Platform
Access control, IP video and intrusion are combined in a single platform designed to simplify and streamline security procedures
Kantech, part of Tyco Security Products, has announced Intevo, an integrated security platform that unites access control, IP video and intrusion in a compact and scalable solution.
Intevo is an easy to deploy integrated security platform, designed to be up and running in minimal time. Intevo is simple to configure and includes a customized dashboard for easy system management. The system is preloaded with Kantech’s EntraPass Corporate Edition security management software and American Dynamics IP video management software. Intevo also includes support for DSC PowerSeries and MAXSYS alarm panel integration, giving users plug-and-play capability.
“Having access, video and intrusion integrated at the ground level in a single appliance will greatly simplify security management functions for users, offering a common user interface and streamlining ongoing maintenance,” said Scott McNulty, Kantech Product Manager, Tyco Security Products. “Intevo represents the evolution of integration.”
Intevo provides an ideal platform for small to medium businesses as well as the ability to grow the system to meet organizational needs over time. Intevo also supports the EntraPass Web client and the new EntraPass Go mobile application. With its embedded Windows 7 OS, latest generation Intel processor, a solid-state drive for applications and a separate hard drive for storage, Intevo offers high performance computing technology while having only one server to maintain. Other key features of Intevo include dual integrated Ethernet ports, 6 USB 2.0 ports and 1 RS-232 serial port and dual display outputs for VGA, HDMI and DVI.
Intevo is available through Kantech’s distribution channels.
