LogicNow Partners With Bitdefender To Create New Managed Antivirus Service For MSPs

LogicNow has recently announced its partnership with the market-leading specialist security vendor Bitdefender to create a new Managed Antivirus service available to MSPs. The new Managed Antivirus Engine is part of LogicNow’s MAXfocus product suite, the world’s most widely trusted managed service provider (MSP) and IT support platform.

Bitdefender’s antimalware technology ranks consistently as the best available on the market and is the top-rated business antivirus software on independent review site AV-TEST. With this technology now available as a fully integrated part of the wider MAXfocus platform, MSPs can offer customers the best available protection from malware as part of their Managed Security Service portfolio.

Bitdefender combines best-in-class protection against malware and viruses with excellent performance in minimizing false positives and low system overhead. This combination allows MSPs to deliver this protection to their clients with the lowest possible management effort on their part. The updated Managed Antivirus is also fully white labelled and customizable, giving MSPs full control over how the service is branded and which contact details are included.

The new update also includes:

• The introduction of Behavioral Scanning to complement Active Protection to maximize effectiveness against hard to detect threats such as Cryptolocker.
• Snooze" feature to disable antivirus for a short time in order to perform maintenance, simplifying policy management.
• Site Concentrator, which centralizes virus definition updates to minimize bandwidth requirements and can be used for devices on and of the network.
