Where are your peers finding success and failure, in their marketing? What works, what doesn’t, and how much are they spending?

One area in which most solutions providers fall short with their business is with marketing. Some admit they are bad at marketing. Some convince themselves word of mouth is all they need. Others believe no marketing works after past attempts fell short of expectations. The topic of marketing has interested me for a while, as methods and results can vary so greatly from solutions provider to solutions provider. With that in mind, we sought to gain a macro view of what MSPs (managed services providers) have tried, what’s worked, and what hasn’t.
