Michael Gerber’s ‘The Dreaming Room’ Course Offered To RSPA Members

Author and entrepreneur Michael Gerber will present a course for Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA) membersthis fall:The Dreaming Room. During this ten-week course participants will use the tools and guidance of their “Dream Room Facilitator” to create a new venture and conceive of a unique business opportunity. The course will meet online for 90 minutes each week to go through Michael Gerber’s process of creating an extraordinary business.

The Michael E. Gerber Companies describe The Dreaming Room as “a completely unique incubator for emerging entrepreneurs, a space and a place where you can learn the essential skills necessary to truly and deeply awaken the new entrepreneur within you.”

If you are familiar with Gerber’s book The E-Myth Revisited, the ideas behind The Dreaming Room could sound familiar. The Dreaming Room goes beyond The E-Myth, however, building on the fact that a business owner can only move beyond the roles of technician and manager to become a true entrepreneur who creates a business that can function beyond the capacity of the owner. At RetailNOW, Gerber was the featured speaker on Aug. 3 at RSPA RetailNOW 2015, where he helped RSPA members define “entrepreneur” in a number of ways including, “A dreamer: someone who asks, “What if?” and “Why do we do it this way?”

The Dreaming Room calls entrepreneurs to the next level — to consider their roles in a social and environmental context.

In his interview with Business Solutions president Jim Roddy, Gerber commented, “The two ingredients of the entrepreneurial mind-set, that independent minded individual, that one who is free to grow, to the degree he or she exercises the will and the imagination to grow, and the systems which are the product of it.”

The Dreaming Room course is offered to RSPA members at a highly discounted rate of only $500. To register, clickhere.
