Milestone Systems Twice Awarded Axis Development Partner Of The Year 2011

Partnership kudos achieved for business collaborations throughout India and South Asia

COPENHAGEN – Milestone Systems, the open platform company for IP video management software, has been named Partner of the Year 2011 by Axis Communications, the world leader in network surveillance equipment. Two awards were presented to Milestone: Partner of the Year 2011 for India and Partner of the Year 2011 for South Asia Pacific (SAP) covering the entire region for Asia, Australia, India and New Zealand.

The Axis Channel Convergence Conference (ACCC) 2012 event took place 26-28 September at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The awards banquet was held 27 September to recognize the performances of top Axis partners throughout the past year. Nominations for the awards were submitted by local Axis sales teams, who nominated the high performance partners in their field. Senior executives within Axis then reviewed and voted on the nominations to determine the winners.

Milestone was selected as Partner of the Year based on the following criteria:

• Strong integration skills – as a Milestone Manufacturer Alliance Partner (MAP), Axis benefits from ongoing, dedicated device driver development for the latest models of cameras and encoders 
• Investment in resources for joint workshops and concerted efforts to enhance the companies’ collaborative business opportunities 
• Value-adding relationship management through Milestone support of the Axis partner network in working closely with the system integrators
