N-able Announces StorageCraft Integration, New Ticketing Solution At Partner Summit
From the stage at N-able’s Global Partner Summit on October 24 in Scottsdale, AZ, JP Jauvin, VP and GM of N-able Technologies, made two announcements: there is a new partnership, and a new ticketing system is headed for the market.
Jauvin said N-able inked its new partnership with StorageCraft just minutes before the announcement. He said N-able will be “integrating, marketing, selling, and supporting” the StorageCraft backup and recovery product line. StorageCraft provides solutions for local, off-site, and cloud-based storage, which will be available through N-able beginning in Q4.
Jauvin also announced that N-able is going to market with “Help Desk Manager.” The new ticketing system, “born on the web, built for the web,” is a result of the company’s partnership with Solarwinds. The new system has flexible installation options, including installing it as a SaaS product, on a Windows server, on Linux, or as a web application. It features ticketing and workflow automation and enables the administrator to define permissions and rules — all controlled from its dashboard. Help Desk Manager will be available in the first half of 2014. Jauvin stressed the new system is not a PSA, adding, “but if you are looking for a great ticketing solution, this would be it.”
