NCC Wraps Up Another Successful Dealer Conference

National Computer Corporation (NCC), a leading developer of retail and restaurant point of sale software would like to extend a huge thank you to all reseller and vendor partners who attended the 2016 NCC Dealer Conference.

This year the conference exceeded 170 attendees, creating NCC’s largest event to date. The event was expanded with an additional QIR Day, sponsored by CRS. During QIR Day, NCC brought in representatives from the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) who trained and tested 54 NCC resellers to help them achieve PCI Qualified Integrators and Resellers (QIR) certification.

Keeping in line with NCC’s continual efforts to keep resellers educated, the agenda included a track of Education Sessions, sponsored by HP. What’s more, NCC hosted two panel discussions moderated by Kelly Funk, president and CEO of the Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA), including a VAR of the Future panel discussion and an EMV Part II panel discussion. These discussions included experts from Discover, Vantiv, Integrated Payments, CRS, Datacap Systems, and HP, as well as two exceptional NCC resellers, and covered content related to how resellers can continue to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry and how they can be prepared to successfully handle the EMV transition.

The conference included a St. Patty’s Day welcome reception sponsored by Vantiv Integrated Payments, and closed on a high note with a cocktail reception on Friday evening, sponsored by Discover, followed by NCC’s annual Awards Dinner where NCC’s top performing resellers for 2015 were recognized. This year’s dinner was particularly special as NCC’s partners joined in the celebration to honor NCC’s 30th Anniversary.

“Thanks again to everyone at NCC for a very productive, informative, and fun conference. It is truly rare in our industry to find a room full of reseller partners and vendors that can work together in such a healthy atmosphere, free from politics and posturing, and/yet full of mutual respect and genuine care for the well-being and success of all parties,” said Rob Freaney owner of Performance POS in San Francisco, CA after his third consecutive NCC Dealer Conference.

“Each year our event grows,” said Chuck Prince, President of NCC, “yet somehow seems to feel smaller and more like a family reunion every year, a rare phenomenon in a rapidly changing industry.”
