"The IP (Internet protocol) side of the video surveillance space is growing double digits -- 20-30%," Constantine says. "And the analog side is working hard just to stay flat, if not declining. We're going to reach a crossover point in the next couple years, and 3-5 years down the road IP video is going to dominate the video surveillance security marketplace. ... What that means to any dealer, any reseller with networking expertise, that understands the network, that knows how to work with an IT department at an end user, is they're going to have an opportunity if they choose to take advantage of it, to add video surveillance to their portfolio. ... It's a much lower barrier of entry than it was 2-3 years ago."
