Next Level Security Systems To Showcase Mobile Apps, New Version Of Unified Security Management At Asis 2012
Company delivers new level of intelligence, usability to security users
Philadelphia – Next Level Security Systems, a provider of a new breed of unified, networked security solutions, will highlight the next evolution of its open platform, IP-based security technologies at ASIS 2012, being held September 10-13, 2012, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The company’s new mobile and analytic packages, the NLSS Gateway 3.0, a unified security management system that combines IP access control, IP-based video management, video analytics and cloud-based security services, and the NLSS Gateway 5000, an enterprise-class version of the security management system, will be on display at booth #1255.
NextProtect™ is a new mobile application that allows users to use their smart phone as a mobile guard or virtual escort. With NextProtect, a person can enable security personnel to track them via GPS in their mobile phone to ensure safe travel. The tracking can be turned off once the person reaches their destination. The application also features a panic button that will alert authorities of their location when activated while automatically sending audio and video from the phone.
“Using NextProtect as a mobile guard enhances safety from a proactive standpoint in a variety of applications,” said Peter Jankowski, Chairman and President, Next Level Security Systems. “Students walking back to their car or dorm on campuses, runners taking an evening jog in risky neighborhoods and service personnel working alone in unsecured areas will feel safe knowing authorities are a push of the button away.”
Next Level will also unveil NextMobile™, a mobile application that turns cell phones or tablets into live-streaming surveillance cameras. When activated, the phone streams video and audio data to the control center for live viewing or storage. NextMobile allows security practitioners to quickly expand their security network and deliver surveillance video of areas that do not have conventional security cameras.
The NLSS Gateway 3.0, the latest upgrade to the company’s flagship platform, proactively enhances security with NextDetect™, a facial recognition and detection analytic available as an add-on feature. The unique software allows users to create or upload an image database to be searched against for potential matches, and alert users when a match is detected. The latest Gateway software update also includes enhanced audio alert capabilities, audio analytics including glass break, aggression and gunshot detection, and features support for a variety of additional camera manufacturers.
The Gateway 5000 is an enterprise-class unified appliance that integrates all security management functions and offers customized management tools to help customers optimally manage large surveillance systems. The Gateway 5000 features advanced deployment tools such as auto-discovery and provisioning to minimize complex installations. The Gateway 5000 manages hundreds of cameras and access points while delivering superior price-performance, lower complexity and greatly reduced energy requirements when compared to traditional server-based systems.
ASIS attendees are invited to view the complete suite of Next Level solutions and meet the Next Level team during the company’s annual opening day cocktail reception from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday, September 10 at booth #1255. Throughout the conference, attendees will have the chance to win a Sony HD camera and an NLSS Gateway Micro.
Jumbi Edulbehram, Vice President of Business Development, for Next Level, will also participate in a session titled, “Tech Talk: Facial Recognition and Mobility” on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, from 11:15 - 11:45 a.m. at booth #1961. From alarm and video mobility to embedded analytics, this session will address advanced security appliances for a variety of applications.
