Now Is the Right Time To Push Security Solutions

Securely disseminating information on a regular basis is an absolute necessity and of critical concern for countless enterprises throughout the globe — especially those in the healthcare, legal, and financial industries. 

In the wake of the Heartbleed saga — one of the most impactful cybersecurity incidents of the last decade — privacy and security remain at the forefront of many minds.  In the spring, this mega-breach threatened to throw the online community for a loop, affecting the basic security of as many as two-thirds of the world’s websites. That said, it is little wonder why right now is a particularly opportune time to showcase enhanced security solutions.

Complete privacy means keeping information in house. Despite the proliferation of file sharing, data storage, and backup/recovery services currently on the market, most are cloud-based solutions that use fallible encryption techniques for data protection, leaving confidential files vulnerable to attack or misuse. The only surefire way for businesses to protect their most sensitive data is to prevent it from ever leaving their own networks. The best solution is one that leaves nothing to exploit. 

Rather than distributing information on an insecure cloud-based file sharing and data backup/recovery service, businesses should consider purchasing a private-cloud software solution which allows multiple customer machines to backup folders/files to a central repository within its own enterprise.
