NTT America announced that its Global Solutions (GS) and Data Center Services (DCS) business units are launching the NTT America Global Solutions Channel Partner Program.

The company made the announcement Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, at Cloud Partners 2014 in New Orleans.

The program connects the IT channel to one of the top three telecom companies in the world: NTT America is the wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation, which is the information and communications technology (ICT) solutions business within Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT).

Through the new program, qualified channel partners and referral partners can sell NTT America’s entire suite of domestic and international ICT solutions.

“It’s a one-stop shop,” says Robert Westervelt, NTT America’s VP and GM of indirect global solutions. NTT America’s partners can provide a fully integrated solution set comprised of cloud, IP, and data center services including cloud computing, hosting, colocation, IP, Arcstar Universal One private network, MPLS (multiprotocol label switching), and security.

Westervelt says the program will be a good fit for IT solutions providers who work with mid-market and enterprise customers as well as those “on the cusp” of providing cloud and data center services to those customers.

The channel partner program provides support through pre- and post-sale services as well as solutions and cloud architects to design the right solution for your clients.

The program also offers the support of a dedicated channel director: Kevin Goodman, director of channel strategy and marketing for NTT America, is responsible for the development and execution of the program. In addition to his other responsibilities, he will direct partner enablement initiatives including road shows on topics such as cloud technologies and the as-a-Service business model.

Regarding education and partner enablement, Goodman says: “With convergence in the channel, education is the biggest differentiator in specific verticals.”

The new channel program is independent of  NTT America’s Global IP Network Channel Partners Program, established a decade ago to enable partners to sell the company’s IP and data solutions to ISPs, content-oriented companies, and hosting providers.
