Onix Networking To Offer Google Apps Administrator Training

Two-Day Boot Camp will Prepare Attendees for the “Google Apps Certified Administrator” Exam

Onix Networking Corp. (“Onix”) recently announced that it will be holding a two-day training class that will provide attendees with a deeper understanding of the Google Apps Admin Console, and prepare them to take the Google Apps Certified Administrator exam. This boot camp will provide hands-on Administrator training, providing the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to manage day-to-day activities in a Google Apps environment.

Two of Onix's highly experienced technical consultants and Certified Administrators will be leading the course. Topics to be covered include how to:

Properly configure Gmail for your organization for best use

• Efficiently manage users in your domain to maintain proper license counts
• Utilize tools that can help automate your common tasks
• Determine security settings to minimize unwanted email and attacks to your environment.

“It’s a fairly common practice for those looking to become Certified Administrators to take a training course to help prep for the exam.” said Dave Lyon, Manager of Onix’s Professional Services team. “Onix’s Administrators have deployed hundreds of thousands of users to Google Apps; if there is any challenge or issue, we’ve seen it, and are now offering that expertise and insight to customers in this classroom setting.”

The course will be held October 28 and 29, 2014 at Onix’s headquarters in Lakewood, Ohio. The cost is $2,000 per student; early bird and group discounts are available. “We opened up registration, and through word of mouth have nearly filled the entire first class.” said John Lawler, the course organizer and manager of the training group. He was quick to mention that “additional courses will be scheduled on a regular basis.”
