KineticD, the online storage, recovery and access service designed for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs), recently announced that it has completed its acquisition of ROBOBAK, a leading provider of hybrid-cloud backup software for MSPs and the Remote Offices/Branch Offices (ROBO) of small enterprises. The acquisition significantly expands the company¹s portfolio of SaaS and software offerings that can now accelerate cloud backup and recovery solutions for businesses, MSPs, OEM partners, SMB resellers and small enterprise VARs.
As KineticD extends its offering to resellers, private label partners and over 40,000 users, it has seen a growing demand for disaster readiness solutions that include file servers as well as commonly used server-side applications such as Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server and Microsoft Small Business Server. Additionally, ROBOBAK¹s agentless backup technology enables centralized disk-to-disk-to-cloud backup solutions across distributed networks with many remote or branch offices.
