Phoenix Managed Networks, a provider of transaction security services, recently announced a partnership with US telecommunications service provider D&S Communications, stating the companies will partner to meet the demands of customers needing managed security services and assistance with regulatory compliance such as PCI DSS, HIPAA and others. On October 1st, D&S Communications purchased Mako Networks, one of the underlying technologies supporting the PhoeniXSentry managed security service, and the companies look to complement one another’s offerings going forward. Phoenix will expand D&S’s monitoring and help desk capabilities worldwide, while D&S will provide Phoenix with configuration, logistics and deployment support for Mako systems.
