ProCharge Validates PCI-DSS Compliance – Receives Updated Report Of Compliance (ROC)

National payment processor Electronic Payments announced the issuance of a Report of Compliance (ROC) and the validation of the company’s flagship product ProCharge Platform with the standard of PCI-DSS under the following categories:

• Payment Processing – MOTO

• Merchant Services
• Loyalty Programs
• Clearing and Settlement

While Electronic Payments has maintained compliance with the PCI-DSS standard and a listing on the Visa and MasterCard websites since 2008, the strategic decision was made to validate ProCharge as its own product in order to further legitimize and bolster the product in the marketplace.

With ProCharge as a separate entity from Electronic Payments and undergoing a unique audit outside of the scope of Electronic Payments’ audit, it meets the requirement to become an “Open Gateway” offering processing services without a merchant account provided by Electronic Payments.  Furthermore, it sets the product apart from its competition, many of whom lack PCI-DSS compliance not only for the ISO that developed the in-house solution, but for the solution itself.
