The dirty little secret of online backup is the time it takes to restore from the cloud. Hybrid solutions allow businesses to keep both local copies of critical information (for fast restores) on a local hard drive with the added security of keeping the data in the cloud. A good cloud provider should be able to seamlessly allow you to backup locally as well as remotely with ease.
