1,000 Reseller Attendees Expected At D&H's Mid-Atlantic Summer 2012 Tech Show 6/21

HARRISBURG, PA – D&H Distributing, the leading North American computer products and consumer electronics distributor, announces it will host its Mid-Atlantic Summer 2012 Technology Show on Thursday, June 21 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center, Hershey, PA.  This year’s event is expected to attract nearly 1,000 attendees from resellers in this region, who will visit exhibits from more than 130 participating manufacturers. 

The show is full-up with attractions, such as a “Microsoft Device Bar” located at the Microsoft booth.  This exhibit will demonstrate how different devices run on a preview version of the highly anticipated Windows 8 operating system.  At press time, models that are scheduled to be part of the Device Bar include:  the ASUS UX31E Zenbook notebook, the Samsung NP900X3B Series 9 notebook, the Acer Aspire S3 Ultrabook, the Toshiba Portege Z835 ultraportable laptop, the slim Lenovo U300 IdeaPad notebook, the Samsung Series 7 notebook, and the ASUS Eee Slate B121.

The event will also include the east coast debut of the “D&H Solutions Booth” featuring turn-key solutions, and an emerging tech pavilion with a brand new set of vendors.  The educational agenda will touch on some of the industry’s most intriguing developments, including presentations by Microsoft (Windows 8), Cisco (small business video solutions), HP (ProLiant Gen8 servers)  Intel (Ultrabooks), Acer (business solutions), SMB Nation (“Learn to Earn”), and D&H’s Server Specialists (Intel’s E5 Series).

Participating vendors in addition to the above include Antec, Belkin, D-Link, Kensington, Linksys, Lenovo, Plantronics, Samsung, SanDisk, Seagate, Targus, Toshiba, WatchGuard, Western Digital, Zoom Telephonics and a roster of others.  Vendors who are making a first appearance at the show include Dynatron (cooling systems), Fractal Design (cases, power supply), Keebox (wireless products), Monster Digital (extreme SD cards), Snow Lizard Products (cases, accessories), Socket Mobile (handheld data capture), TP-Link (networking), Audyssey Laboratories Inc (audio docks), CODi (laptop cases), Gunnar Optks (gaming eyewear), Tely Labs (Skype video calling).  This the largest amount of debut vendors in the recent history of D&H’s trade show schedule.
