Having just completed the holiday season, retailers will very shortly fall into their evaluation and purchasing phases of the yearly buying cycle. For IT solutions providers in this space, you have the next few months to get in front of retailers with your solutions and then another few months to close the sale. In the past, VARs and MSPs focused on retail did their best to sell whatever solutions were on their line cards. Today, retailers expect more.
