RFID Technology Allows Fashion Retailer to Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience
According to Yahoo! Finance, Inditex Group, one of the world’ s largest fashion retailers, has adopted a new RFID-based inventory intelligence system for its 700 Zara stores across 22 countries, allowing the retailer to have timely, accurate visibility into all merchandise styles, colors, and sizes in its stores. This visibility then allows Inditex to create precise merchandise plans and to tailor product assortments, delivering an exceptional customer experience across the chain.

Luxury Daily reported that the Nieman Marcus department stores have added Visa Checkout as a payment method for its ecommerce site, in an effort to make online shopping more convenient for its consumers. Providing cross-channel services allows retailers to drive in-store traffic and potentially boost sales.
Retailing Today reports that Sears and Kmart and rolling out fashionable new products and new, innovative customer conveniences, paired with clever marketing campaigns, to attract the back-to-school shoppers this season. Included in the new services is an option to pick up clothing purchased online in the nearest Kmart store. Sears also introduced in-vehicle pickup for online purchases, as well.
Aaron’s is undergoing some important transitions, as it closes stores, focuses on operational efficiencies, and concentrates in e-commerce, according to Retailing Today. Disappointing Q2 returns prompted the refocused strategies.
