ScanSource Catalyst®, a sales unit of ScanSource, Inc. [NASDAQ: SCSC], and value-added distributor of voice, video and data convergence solutions, today announced a Unified Communications cloud offering powered by the Avaya IP Office™ Platform. This new solution, based on Avaya’s flagship collaboration platform for small and midsize businesses, will be hosted by ViaWest, the leading colocation, managed services, and cloud provider in North America.
Offered through ScanSource Catalyst, this cloud solution enables resellers to deliver the same rich, work-from-anywhere communications experience as if the IP Office Platform were deployed on premise, but in a streamlined, pay-per-user-per-month model.
