New snom M700 DECT Multicell Base Station, M65 IP DECT Cordless Handset and D715 and D725 Desktop Phones Highlight Company’s Expanded Lineup of Fixed and Mobile VoIP Endpoints

snom technology, a leading developer of IP desktop business phones, announced recently the debut and general availability of new wireless and desktop VoIP business solutions at this week’s ITEXPO in Miami, Fla. snom is an exhibitor at this weeklong conference and trade show, taking place from January 27-31.

At booth #333, the company will be showcasing for the first time the new M700 DECT multicell base station, M65 IP DECT cordless and D715 and D725 desktop business phones, which are the latest additions to snom’s family of IP endpoints, and VoIP infrastructure used by businesses deploying SIP based IP telephony or unified communications solutions and services.

“snom’s new mobile DECT solutions allow businesses requiring both fixed and mobile communications for their office workforce to seamlessly and cost effectively add this capability into their existing phone system,” said Tom Ostrander, snom Director of North American Channel Sales. “The M65 DECT phone and M700 multicell base station represent a new generation of feature-rich mobility for business uses at a far less cost than cellular.”

Feature-Rich Wireless On-Site Communications
The new snom M65 IP DECT phone and M700 multicell base station are the first of a new wave of innovative communications products that snom will introduce to market in 2015. This new generation of snom DECT phones integrates seamlessly with existing phone systems for presence, paging and other capabilities, and is far less expensive, and offers better call quality than cellular phones.

The M65 handset combines business communications functionality with the intuitive features offered by mobile carriers. The M65 phone has a two-inch backlit color display and a backlit keypad for dialing in poor lighting conditions. Other features include wideband audio (including speakerphone) for the crispest voice quality, six polyphonic ringtones and vibration setting for incoming calls

The new snom M700 multicell base station delivers expanded coverage over several floors or throughout large buildings. It links multiple M700 base stations together to form a network enabling free movement and seamless handover between base stations for uninterrupted calls while moving from one base station to the next. The M700, which can be used in single cell or multicell configuration, supports up to 200 handsets, 40 base stations and 100 repeaters in the same installation.

Powerful, Functional and Value Driven Desktop Business Phones
The new D715 and D725 IP desktop phones are part of snom’s flagship family of phones – snom 7xx series. These new SIP based endpoints feature a Broadcom chipset for improved horsepower to handle current and future voice driven IP communications.

The D725 is the ultimate in functionality, with 18 multicolor function keys, wideband audio, Gigabit Ethernet and a USB port for expansion. With 12 SIP identities (or lines) the D725 is ideal for call-intensive business environments. The D715 has a Gigabit switch, a USB port for expansion, five programmable function keys and four SIP identities.

At ITEXPO booth #333, the company will be exhibiting these new products as well as its full portfolio of SIP-based desktop phones including its snom UC edition phones for Microsoft Lync. snom will also be hosting a special snom UC edition certification training for all the US and Latin American partners on January 28 from 9am to 5pm in room A105 at the Miami Convention Center. All participants who successfully complete the training will receive a snom UC partner certificate entitling them to preferred support and other benefits.
