Star Micronics To Unveil DK-AirCash, A New Security Solution For Mobile POS At RSPA RetailNOW 2013

Star Micronics America, a leading worldwide manufacturer of point of service printers, will be exhibiting at the RSPA RetailNOW 2013 convention at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada from August 4 through 7.

RetailNOW is the premier convention and expo for all professionals in the retail technology industry. The event is where the industry meets each year to become educated on new business trends, emerging technologies and best business practices along with exploring a diverse exhibition of the latest products in the retail technology industry.

Located at booth 516, Star will be showcasing their new DK-AirCash, which enables secure cash payments in mobile POS.

They will also exhibit their new “i” Series of Apple MFi certified portable and desktop Bluetooth printing solutions, which are compatible with all operation systems including iOS, Android and Windows; the new WiFi Power Pack modular LAN to wireless conversion kit; and the new AsuraCPRNT, interactive customer-facing technology device for customer engagement, displaying its infinite opportunities.

Star also plans to bring some of their legacy products, the SP700 kitchen printer and the TSP100ECO environment-friendly printer.

Monday, Aug. 5th: Director of Global Marketing David Salisbury is scheduled to run a series of four educational sessions, “Star Micronics Presents the Future of POS.”

Wednesday, Aug. 7th: Star’s Vice President Mike Hanson will participate in the VSR POS panel discussion

Star Micronics will be sharing their booth with partners, VendHQ and eMobilePOS. VendHQ is a cloud-based retail POS solution for PC, Mac, iPad and Android that prints to Star’s SM-S220i portable and TSP650II BTi desktop printers. eMobilePOS is an all-in-one mobile POS system for tablets and smartphones that prints to Star’s SM-220i portable printer.
