DRAPER, Utah – StorageCraft® Technology Corporation announced today that it is now offering StorageCraft® Cloud Services™ through additional partners, known as value added resellers (VARs), via Lifeboat and SYNNEX distribution.

StorageCraft Cloud Services allows companies to use offsite backup of servers for complete system and data disaster recovery. StorageCraft Cloud Services offers anytime, anywhere access to data and instant system failover in the cloud. It provides users with options that range from instant virtualization to simple archiving, allowing organizations to meet business continuity requirements and the ability to always stay in control of offsite systems and data.

“Value-added resellers now have access to a complete end-to-end business continuity solution for their customers with StorageCraft Cloud Services,” Curt James, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at StorageCraft. “StorageCraft Cloud Services is a tool that allows small and medium businesses to recover their systems and data quickly in the event of a disaster or unexpected loss by storing flexible point-in-time backups in a safe and secure offsite location.”

Currently, StorageCraft Cloud Services is available in the United States and Canada. The product is expected to be available to international customers later this year.

VARs will be able to access StorageCraft Cloud Services via Lifeboat and SYNNEX distribution. Previously, StorageCraft Cloud Services was only available to managed service providers (MSPs) through the StorageCraft MSP Program.

StorageCraft Cloud Services will be available through VARs on a prepaid basis and is offered in tiered options, allowing for further customization. The tiered options are:

  • Cloud Basic: Archives critical business backup images.
  • Cloud+: Includes everything in Cloud Basic, plus immediate file and folder recovery.
  • Cloud Premium: Includes everything in Cloud+, as well as instant virtualization of data and failover in the cloud.

In addition, U.S. users may opt to have their data mirrored to a second data center for an additional layer of protection.
