SYNNEX Corporation Selects Tim Acker To Lead Its Mobility And Connected Solutions Businesses

SYNNEX Corporation, a leading distributor of IT products and services, announced recently that it has selected IT channel veteran Tim Acker to lead its mobility and connected solutions businesses. As Vice President of Mobility and Connected Solutions, Mr. Acker works directly with carriers and OEMs to help drive SYNNEX' business around mobile devices and related connected products, tools, services and solutions. Mr. Acker will also lead and further develop the SYNNEX MOBILITYSolv program, which provides end-to-end mobility and connectivity solutions leveraging strategic vendors that help customers increase employee productivity in a highly mobile world.

Prior to assuming this role, Mr. Acker served as Senior Director and General Manager at Ingram Micro Mobility, with responsibilities around enterprise mobility and IoT, as well as the company's wearables and accessories businesses, which he established after the acquisition of BrightPoint. An accomplished technology executive and entrepreneur, Mr. Acker is a leader of and individual contributor to sales, channel and business development, product marketing and information systems. He has held leadership roles with companies including Cisco Systems, Evolve Partners, Digital River and eSystems Design.
