By far, one of the hottest verticals VARs and vendors talk about is education. This vertical is similar to government in that spending seems to be looser than it is for businesses in the private sector. Intergrator Melsernet recently landed some wireless networking work for a large school district in Indiana. The scope of the project serves as a good reminder of how lucrative the education vertical can be.
