Concept-to-completion offering available as part of HP ServiceOne Program
Tech Data Corporation recently announced that it will be the first Channel Service Provider (CSP) in the United States to perform HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage installation and startup services on behalf of HP channel partners through its HP Solutions Group. As an authorized HP ServiceOne delivery partner, Tech Data’s HP Solutions Group is focused on enabling HP resellers to increase engagement with their end-user customers, expand their HP Technology Services portfolio, and grow profitability through the program. The announcement was made in conjunction with Tech Data’s Fall Channel Link event, being held this week in Anaheim, California.

Tech Data’s expanded relationship with HP launches a strategic shift in the business model from traditional fulfillment of products to a new focus on concept-to-completion solutions across the entire HP Converged Infrastructure stack, helping resellers embrace and capitalize on the latest technology trends. The initial launch includes HP-authorized installation and startup services focused on HP 3PAR StoreServ 7000 Storage and are expected to expand over time to include product lifecycle services and other product service offerings. Tech Data’s service offerings will be targeted at the mid-tier reseller space, raising profit opportunities for its channel partners.
