TelNet Worldwide Launches New Service To Improve Network Speed, Reliability And Quality In Michigan

TelNet QuantumLink works by aggregating the bandwidth of multiple connections into a network or facility, creating a “virtual pipe” managed with a single IP address. Virtually any type of data connectivity can be combined for greater efficiency by TelNet QuantumLink; including cable, fiber, T1, and even 4G wireless. 

For customers that have multiple connections into their facilities or networks, TelNet QuantumLink not only provides seamless, instant fail-over in the event of a carrier outage but also constantly manages the virtual pipe, performing per-packet load balancing and end-to-end Quality of Service (QoS) data flow management. Customers can deploy either a default QoS profile or define their own based on their specific needs, automatically relegating or promoting traffic based on specific expedited-forwarding markings and other criteria. 

TelNet QuantumLink also enhances benefits of broadband Wide Area Networks (WANs), lowering remote site connection costs, adding an extra layer of security and complementing rather than replacing existing LAN environments. Leveraging existing connection providers, TelNet QuantumLink adds guaranteed voice quality, improves reliability, increases speed and cuts the cost of access for remote sites in a WAN environment.
