Schools are buying solutions that help them control operational costs, comply with regulations, and evolve with the ways students consume information.

The fact that schools operate on tight budgets isn’t a surprise, but letting that perception prevent you from selling to this market could stop you from capitalizing on the opportunities there.

“The health of the education market’s IT spend is generally assumed to be decreasing. However, this is incorrect,” says Terry Cruikshank, senior manager of industry marketing for OKI Data Americas. “Educators and IT directors will consider spending money on solutions and tools that can help them reduce costs.”
