Tyler Beecher Named New CEO Of Trace3 As Company Pursues Rapid Growth Phase

IT Solutions Provider Promotes Sales EVP to Lead Expansion to Next Level

Trace3, a pioneer in digital business transformations, has named Tyler Beecher as its new Chief Executive Officer to succeed company founder Hayes Drumwright, who will remain in a leadership role as Executive Chairman.

Drumwright launched Trace3 in 2002 as a value-added reseller of information technology systems, but the company has since evolved into a full-service partner for IT services, including consulting for big data, cloud computing, and datacenter infrastructure implementations.

In his previous role as Executive Vice President of Sales for Trace3, Beecher headed the global sales team and developed management training programs to accelerate sales and improve customer service. Shortly after Beecher joined the company last year, Trace3 was recognized by industry giant Cisco Systems as its “Innovation Partner of the Year” for 2013.

Trace3 has grown steadily under Drumwright’s direction, reaching $420 million in revenue in 2013. Now the company will embark on its next growth phase by broadening its IT services portfolio under Beecher’s leadership, with the eventual goal of reaching $1 billion in annual sales, said Drumwright.

Before he joined Trace3, Beecher served as Director of Enterprise Sales for NetApp. Prior to NetApp, Beecher led high-performing sales teams at EMC, Cisco Systems and 3Com.
