Video: Wyche Tells ScanSource Partners Teams Stay Together With The Right Teammates
Sam Wyche was the keynote speaker at the ScanSource Worldwide Partner Conference for POS and Barcoding, March 16-18 in Greenville, SC. Wyche, former head coach of the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals (1984-91) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1992-95).
Wyche points out teams — whether in sports or business — form because of necessity, “but teams stay together when you get the right teammates … when you get the right coach, the right quarterback, and the right personnel around you.”
He also says the success of your team depends on leadership — and leaders can have any role in your company from the top to the lowest paid person on the payroll. An environment that encourages the exchange of ideas is also key. “Make sure you listen,” Wyche says.
