Vorex Hires Service Delivery And Applications Management Expert Jim Trumbly As Vice President Of Global Delivery

Business management solutions provider expands its executive team to enhance service delivery and customer support worldwide

Vorex, Inc., a leader in cloud-based business management solutions that combine project management and professional services automation (PSA) tools, recently announced the addition of James “Jim” Trumbly, Ph.D., to its executive team as vice president of global delivery. In this role, Trumbly will be responsible for overseeing project management workflows, supporting sales efforts and enhancing the quality of service and customer support.

A veteran of the technology industry, Trumbly brings more than 30 years of experience in service delivery, application development and project management. Prior to joining Vorex, he served as an experienced software designer and project manager for several technology companies, including Intelligent Software Solutions, Techsmart International, Compuware and Hewlett-Packard. Trumbly obtained his doctorate in information systems and quantitative analysis from Mississippi State University.

Trumbly will oversee Vorex’s global delivery team, based out of Vorex’s new Colorado office, and be tasked with expanding the division. The global delivery team will be responsible for:

  • Sales support ­ assist with product demonstrations, interact with clients and provide additional sales documents and resources.
  • Project management ­ streamline the onboarding process for customers from point of initial contact to being fully operational.
  • Training and support ­ provide training videos, on-site support, webinars, etc.
  • Content delivery ­ act as a knowledge resource for clients and across the company.
