VTN News: VTN Connect

Webinar: Cloud 101

By Gennifer Biggs, security, storage, and managed services editor

VTN partners Jim Veraldi and Larry Hedin took to the stage this morning to share news about the peer-to-peer and training offerings that are the groundwork for VTN Connect, an initiative to bring more value to the VTN membership. First, the Executive Mastermind Groups will provide quarterly peer-to-peer meetings for IT business c-level executives. "As owners of IT businesses, there are a lot of trends to keep up with, as well as business models, and this is an opportunity for VTN members to share thoughts and strategy around those challenges," explains Veraldi. "It is an opportunity to get together with peers to discuss what is going on in the channel." For VTN members, the cost is $3,000 for four meetings a year. In addition, to pull more of VTN members' employees into the world of VTN, Connect will include training and certification around topics such as HR, sales, marketing, and operations, as well as traditional technical offerings.

Listen as John Fago, Sr. Director of channel marketing, Ingram Micro, explains why this program is valuable to VTN members.
