WaveSoft's Aldelo Application Upgraded With New Features, Additional Peripheral Support

WaveSoft Technologies, a leading developer of mobile point of sale applications for the hospitality industry,recently unveiled its upgraded WavePOSfor Aldelo app, which includes several new features and a redesigned user interface that is optimized for Apple iPhones, iPods and iPads running iOS 7.

WaveSoft has added several user-friendly functions into the WavePOS for Aldelo app that will enable users to take and recall orders faster. An enhanced order viewing capability was created with fast-paced environments in mind. Employees may now quickly retrieve open tabs or start a new check by swiping a credit card. Rather than spending time paging through open checks and tabs while people are waiting, just a few clicks will sort them by section, server name or the time the table or party ordered.

Users running on iOS 7, Apple’s newest mobile operating system, can upgrade to the new version of WavePOS for Aldelo for free. In most cases, the application will update automatically but if it fails to do so, the update is available from the Apple App store.

The app also features improved configurability for payments by utilizing Apple’s Lightning connector port to support additional magnetic stripe readers.

WavePOS is PCI certified and an Aldelo ready solution that is fully integrated with Aldelo EDC 6.2. With WavePOS for Aldelo, users will be able to synchronize their full menu, modifiers and other systems configurations from Aldelo onto the iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and iPad Mini. This capability gives Aldelo users a consistent ordering experience on handhelds, tablets and stationary POS terminals.
