What's Ahead For Zebra And Motorola Partners Now That The Acquisition Is Final?

Zebra Technologies has completed the acquisition of Motorola Solutions’ Enterprise business. Denise Hampton (pictured), NA channel strategy, marketing, operations & global partner programs for Zebra Technologies, says the acquisition will not affect any immediate changes in the ways partners interact with the company. “Keeping with the critical role that business continuity plays in our acquisition process, we can confirm that Zebra Technologies’ PartnerFirst and Motorola Solutions’ PartnerEmpower programs will remain unchanged and continue, separate and distinct, until the end of 2015. In addition, a company’s status under these programs as well as its program requirements will remain the same,” says Hampton. The acquisition will not immediately change product access, distribution purchasing channels, promotions and growth incentives, service contracts, or technical support.
