New Joint Offering Enables Automatic Mitigation of Application Vulnerabilities via Runtime Application Self Protection

Booth #1011 – WhiteHat Security, the web security company, recently announced a new strategic partnership with Prevoty, Inc., a leader in runtime application security monitoring and protection. Customers of WhiteHat’s Sentinel software-as-a-service platform will now have the option of mitigating identified application bugs and defects automatically by seamlessly integrating with Prevoty’s Application Monitoring and Protection (AMP) solution for RASP capabilities.

Runtime Application Self-Protection (RASP), is an emerging security technology that allows applications to automatically defend against attacks without requiring changes to the application source code. According to Gartner, Inc., “The accuracy of attack detection and protection will greatly advance if applications stop delegating their entire protection to external devices and adopt RASP.” ^[1]

Integration of Prevoty AMP and WhiteHat Sentinel allows WhiteHat customers the ability to instantly and easily mitigate identified application vulnerabilities.
