Retailers and restaurateurs have to maintain strict cost control to remain competitive in today's marketplace. Because one of the largest issues these markets deal with is theft — both external and internal — video surveillance is a critical component of keeping theft, and therefore, costs, down. Retailers traditionally invested in analog-based CCTV products, but the emergence of IP-based surveillance solutions offer far more benefits than analog systems, including those that reach beyond traditional security.
