Starting with the family business, Sam, Neal, and Steve realized that most companies were doing little or nothing to protect their most important files. Sam, Neal, and Steve wanted to create a solution, simple enough for any business owner to use, that would deliver reliable offsite backup, security, and on-demand data recovery that up to then was available only to the largest companies.

Stability and Growth
In October 2007, OpenView Venture Partners made a capital investment in Intronis, and began providing expert management and product development guidance. In January 2008, we opened our new headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts and expanded our Technology and Development Center in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.
