He unveiled the philosophy for CompTIA for the coming year — a set of four goals the organization calls ECAP — educate the IT channel, certify the IT workforce, advocate on behalf of the IT industry, and give back through philanthropy. To explain each goal, Thibodeaux welcomed CompTIA staff to the stage.

CharTec Academy: What's New In 2011

As part of its June CharTec Academy, the HaaS vendor outlined new offerings it expects to roll out in the second half of the year. CEO Alex Rogers kicked off his series of announcements by talking about the newly expanded CharTec facility, which opened for the June academy with a training room almost three times as large as the former room.
