D&H Appoints Peter DiMarco New VP Of VAR Sales For Its Computer Products Division

The Distributor Adds Seasoned IT Industry and Distribution Veteran toDrive Existing Sales and Support Expansion into a Strategic New Market Segment

D&H Distributing, the leading North American computer products and consumer electronics distributor, is pleased to announce it has appointed Peter DiMarco in the newly-created executive position of vice president of VAR sales, Computer Products Division (CPD). DiMarco will oversee sales teams working with all value-added resellers that sell through the CPD division. This includes independent, government and education solution providers. DiMarco will manage both inside and outside sales teams, charged with increasing sales in these existing channels. In addition, DiMarco’s team will support new market growth strategies at D&H Distributing focused on helping its SMB solution providers evolve towards larger mid market sales opportunities and solutions.

DiMarco most recently served as an IT channel development leader at EarthLink, and has coordinated sales initiatives with partners such as Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, Lenovo, VMware, Apple, Juniper, Citrix and HP. He also boasts IT distribution experience having served as a vice president of VAR sales at Ingram Micro.

In addition to DiMarco’s appointment, D&H has elected Fred Eddy to assume the new position of vice president of sales for the retail/e-tail/DMR (direct market reseller) segment within the CPD division. He will similarly oversee both inside and outside sales organizations for this sector. Eddy will be responsible for driving higher growth in these critical revenue segments. DiMarco and Eddy will report to Senior Vice President of Sales Jeff Davis.
