iPayment Adds Denise Tahali To Senior Leadership Team

Driving accelerated expansion of the Company’s ISO and Agent channel

iPayment, Inc., a trusted provider of payment and processing solutions for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), announced the hiring of Denise Tahali as the Company’s Senior Vice President, ISO and Direct Agent Sales. Tahali brings more than 26 years of sales and client management experience in payments and financial services to this newly created senior leadership role.

Most recently, Denise served as Vice President, Partner Solutions for First Data Corporation, where her numerous accomplishments included re-engineering the product, service and support offerings within the ISO program and re-launching the new program to attract and sign new ISO partners. She met or exceeded her annual performance objectives each of her three years in the role. Tahali joined First Data in 2002, first leading the FDC RSA Southeast Sales team, which consisted of more than 225 business consultants representing large bank partners, then undertaking an expatriate assignment as FDMS Director of UK Sales. Denise began her career with SunTrust Bank, where she worked for 11 years, holding a variety of sales and sales leadership roles in and around merchant acquiring.

Denise has been recognized throughout her career with numerous accolades including the 2015 First Data Way Award, which is awarded annually to one individual out of more than 23,000 employees. She also received the 2007 First Data Product Cornerstone Award, was a seven-time President’s Club Winner (First Data) and was named Merchant Services Employee of the Year award during her tenure with SunTrust Bank.
