Mark Tipper understands what it’s like to be in his restaurant customers’ shoes. Prior to starting his company, Point of Solutions, 14+ years ago, he owned a restaurant for five years. In fact, two driving forces that led him to start an IT company were that he couldn’t understand why technology was so expensive and why good IT support was so hard to find. Fast forward to the present and Point of Solutions has five staff members and is still achieving year-over-year growth by sticking to its founding principles: Sell quality POS solutions and services for a reasonable price, and take care of customers after the sale.
