In 2015, workforce analyst group Achievers conducted a nationwide workforce survey that revealed some very telling statistics about job satisfaction: 51 percent of respondents revealed not being happy at work, and 50.4 percent said they expected not to be with their organizations a year from now. While there may be multiple symptoms behind these low employee engagement levels, two common culprits are a failure of companies to recognize that the way people work is evolving and paying too much attention to the customer experience — to the neglect of workforce experience.
