I really enjoy talking with the leaders of small IT vendors. Why? It's simple. They get it. I appreciate that they "friend me" on Facebook and ask about my puppy. I like that they can produce an interesting and creative channel partner in a matter of minutes when I am in a pinch for an article contact. I like that they make fun of themselves. What I don't like is the level of disengagement and the attitude problem that behemoth industry "leaders" seem to have. Let me illustrate my point.
