Consumer-Grade Tablets Don't Belong In The Enterprise

The public interest and enthusiasm around a product like Apple's iPad is something we rarely see these days. Because of this increased interest from consumers, workers around the globe are coming to expect such devices on a corporate level. While these devices can free workers from the confines of their cubicles, they can create challenges for IT departments including failures in the field, data security, and compliance issues. Despite these issues, the demand is so great that executives continue to push enterprise demand for iPads.
