Lavu iPad POS Delivers Innovative Pizza Ordering Tools And Improved Customer Experience

Restaurant point of sale system Lavu iPad POS has released innovative Pizza Ordering Tools which allow pizza restaurants to easily customize pizza orders with a graphic representation of the pizza and split toppings. Customer Database features let businesses add customer profiles that consist of their full address, phone number, order history, and other customer information, saving time and improving customer experience.

Albuquerque, NM (PRWEB) - Lavu Inc., makers of Lavu restaurant point of sale for iPad, has released a new product designed specifically to improve workflow and customer experience at pizzerias and similar business types. The new Pizza Creator module features an innovative graphical interface that makes customization of pizza orders more efficient. "Along with the Lavu Customer Management module and new delivery features, the Lavu Pizza Creator is able to fulfill the specific requirements of pizza shops," said Alex Gibbs, Product Development Manager with Lavu Inc.

Lavu Pizza Creator includes a customizable graphical display of a pizza, complete with split topping capabilities. Toppings can be selected for the entire pizza, left half, or right half. The order screen displays the image of the pizza with toppings as they are added. Where other pizza-ordering POS systems are limited to only a few toppings per order, the Lavu Pizza Creator will display as many toppings as selected. Lavu iPad POS allows managers to set other customizable modifiers, such as pizza size, crust type, and sauce type.

The Lavu Customer Management module improves customer experience by supplying the order taker with customer information during the ordering process. This module makes it easy to create new customer profiles or to access existing customer profiles by searching for basic information, such as name or phone number. Employees can access the customer's address for delivery, and can see order history to remind loyal patrons of their previous orders. The Customer Management database is stored on Lavu's cloud servers, allowing management access to this data across multiple locations.

The customer profile data fields in Customer Management can be customized to meet the needs of the business. For consistency, every data field has the option to be set as a required entry. These fields can be set to print on receipts, which benefits locations with delivery or carry-out options. Other optional fields include birthday, company, and a field that asks the customer how they heard about the business.

The Pizza Creator is available for all Lavu software levels and can be accessed by current Lavu users. The Customer Management module is available for Lavu Gold and Platinum/Pro clients. Both features are currently being used by many different businesses internationally.
