Nominations Now Open For CompTIA's Inaugural Member Of The Year Award

Recognizing the importance and value of its engaged member base, CompTIA recently announced that nominations are now open for its inaugural Member of the Year Award. Nominations can be submitted now through January 8, 2016, by completing the online form.

“Our industry engagement has experienced tremendous growth with more than 65,000 registered users and 2,000 plus Premier Members now leveraging CompTIA’s resources,” said Nancy Hammervik, senior vice president, industry relations, CompTIA.

“We launched the CompTIA Member of the Year Award to celebrate the contributions that our members make to the organization and to the industry, and to honor one member annually for his or her commitment, passion, professionalism and leadership in assisting CompTIA in its mission to advance the IT industry.”

CompTIA Premier Members are eligible for the Member of the Year Award. Nominations can be submitted online and will be reviewed by a selection committee comprised of CompTIA community leaders, vendors and solution providers. The honoree will be recognized during CompTIA’s Annual Member Meeting to be held March 22-24, 2016 in Chicago at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park.

“The CompTIA Member of the Year Award is set to become the most prestigious acknowledgement that CompTIA’s membership can bestow, and we’re thrilled to see the nominations roll in and announce our inaugural honoree,” continued Hammervik.
