Pivot3 Revenue Advance Signals Accelerating Growth

Video surveillance and VDI storage solutions provider on track to double revenue year-on-year; announces new investments

Austin, Texas – Commenting on its accelerating momentum and expanding global customer base, Pivot3, Inc., a leading supplier of video surveillance and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) Serverless Storage Appliances, announced today that its 2012 third quarter year-to-date revenues significantly exceeded those of its full 2011 fiscal year, and that it is on its way to doubling prior year revenues. At the end of Q3 2012, Pivot3 had recorded over 370 surveillance transactions, including notable wins in gaming, corrections and transportation. Further, Pivot3 outlined a series of new investments in personnel, resources and capabilities, aimed at delivering increased value to more customers across a wider range of served markets.

Pivot3 is expanding its customer support and professional service capabilities to complement the full line of integrated storage solutions the company delivers to its partners and customers worldwide. Pivot3, which hasdelivered more than 7,000 purpose-built appliances into the video surveillance market to date, is taking steps to further help customers meet their business goals through an expanding range of professional and support services.

We’re now focused on taking customer success to the next level through delivering our innovative converged appliance solutions combined with new services, tools and processes,” said Paul Kaeley, Vice President and General Manager of Services, Pivot3. “Our deep understanding of solution requirements allow us to work closely with key partners and customers to deliver value-added services, such as technology and solution training, deployment services, and extended warranties that help them meet their business goals faster.” Kaeley joined Pivot3 in August of this year, into the newly created position he now holds.

In moves aimed at further accelerating its growth, Pivot3 boosted the strength of its sales and engineering teams with the appointments of four security and IT industry veterans, and promoted Curt Wittich to the role ofVice President of Worldwide Sales. Wittich will oversee and manage the company’s worldwide sales and sales engineering teams.

Kevin Brooks has been named Global Partner and Ecosystem Development Manager. Brooks has extensive experience in the security industry, and has served in various roles with integration firms, consultancies and manufacturers. He most recently was Business Development Manager, Physical Security at Enterasys Networks. Earlier in his career, he held key positions with Pelco and Southwest Surveillance Systems.

Keith Zeber was appointed Director of Sales, Western Region. Zeber brings more than 20 years of experience in the enterprise mobility market to Pivot3. He spearheaded creative go-to-market initiatives while leading sales teams toward share and revenue gains in leadership positions with Nova Mobile Systems, Denaliai Advanced Integration, Symbol Technologies and Intermec Technologies.

Steve Bowcut, the new Regional Sales Manager, California for Pivot3, has been in the security industry throughout his career. He most recently served as Regional ISS Sales Manager, at ASSA ABLOY. Prior to that, he heldvarious strategic sales positions with PCSC, Ultrak (MDI) and SimplexGrinnell.

Michael Brown, Southwest Regional Sales Manager for Pivot3, is a 15-year veteran of the security and IT industries. He previously served as a Regional Sales Manager for Schneider Electric and NovusEdge.
