The market for receipt printers was slack during the recent recession, but vendors are now reporting that business is picking up in a number of verticals as the economy recovers. Although large, tier-one retail refresh projects are still sluggish, sales have improved in the banking, government, healthcare, hospitality, lottery and gaming, and public safety markets.
